Recently I received a telephone call from a client. He was looking for a solution for employees of his company for a rapid, secure and simple way to transfer data to EVS Translations. I considered two options – mail encryption with an SSL certificate or the use of our SFTP server.
The main objective of the customer was something easy to handle. For this reason I felt good in offering the customer an SFTP solution which I had refined. In this way I can react individually to the security requirements and requests of the customer.
The FTP Server has file transfer software and it is to be used with a web interface aligned specifically for EVS Translations customers.
As a result of the fiddly work done in my free time, it was possible to realise the data connection solution very quickly. Even so it was something of a surprise that the customer ordered 76 separate accesses for employees. And actually uses them.
